The world is changing – every day, visibly, palpably. In my series Deformed Sculptures / Worlds, I shape these changes into material. I distort, tilt, compress, or unbalance the earth – not out of playfulness, but as a mirror of our reality. Each sculpture poses a question: How stable is our world really? How much deformation can it endure? And what remains of it – or of us?
The works are an expression of my engagement with a planet in upheaval. The forms sometimes appear absurd, playful, or surreal, yet there is always an underlying urgency. I see these deformed worlds as spaces for thought – they challenge us to rethink our relationship with the earth.
