The reversal of a spatial situation reveals something paradoxical in this work. The emptiness between the bananas in a box or in a sack is cast in concrete. By removing the bananas, a negative form is created that opens up a wide space for thought. The spaces were bananas, the concrete was emptiness. With this reversal, we gain a completely new spatial impression that allows our gaze to wander through an inverted world.
