EDUCATION SYSTEM

A system of old school chairs, anchored in a rigid frame made of two table bases – yet nothing remains still. The chairs tilt, twist, and break through the structure. Connections made of stockings – like synaptic strands – stretch between seats and frame elements, connecting and escaping at the same time.

The sculpture appears as an organism under tension: in motion, searching for expansion, for air, for breakout. A single chair withdraws from the system – is on the sidelines, as if taking a different direction. Perhaps it refuses. Perhaps it thinks differently.

Education system presents a net that holds and simultaneously tears. A fragile balance between adaptation and resistance, frame and escape.
